Millions of people in 88 countries joined Earth Hour 2009, designed in sight of the next G8 summit. In fact, their action wanted to force governments in working out a strong new U.N. deal to fight global warming by the end of year, even though the global economic crisis has raised worries about the costs. All together to highlight the importance of this cause.
